Creating The Final Cover Design

This is my final product of the cover design for my magazine. I think that overall, the cover is well designed and layed out. I like how the background picture matches the Christmasy affect the font has and ties it all together. The picture I have used as my main focal point is a statue that said Mattison's, which is a restaurant downtown on Main Street in Sarasota, Florida. I think that the picture is relevant to my issue and is a perfect fit for my magazine cover. The title  The Big Christmas ties my theme with the magazine cover with the theme being a Christmas issue. Overall I placed the most important subtitles on the cover of the magazine to grab the reader's attention of what the magazine will be about.
